Pack ambush

"After our retreat back to the main path, we started on our somewhat expedited way back to the shop. A series of three loud bangs went off after the other wagon took off behind us. We used small but loud explosives to let everyone know when we were leaving and three bangs meant that it was time to get out. We weren't the only ones in the forest at that moment mind you, as there were a handful of other hunting parties along the main path.
