Aberration colossus

"They say that the crimson moon makes magic more powerful, or at least that is what the albinos thought, that each lunar phenomenon altered magic in different ways. I certainly would say there is some truth to said folktale. We had just slain one of the more severely afflicted with a shot from one of our arbalests accompanied by several deep gashes with an axe and were currently in the process of looking over the thing and waiting for those who had fired to reload their arbalests. While we were waiting one of us leaned down to the creature and produced a knife from its holster and cut off its tongue. We had tried different ways of proving our kills, but tongues were as good as any, as they tended to have only one of those, and if they had several, well more iron and gold for us then..."
