"If you go that way, turn around when you run into a clearing that looks as if it was created by a forest fire. A warlock roams that region now and you'd be wise to give that place a wide berth. And be careful of who you talk to, some folks I think have struck a deal with the warlock in return of their lands being spared."
The warlocks are a dangerous sort of being, harnessing power that they loan from their god, Boroxis. Thusly they are the most powerful of Boroxis' followers, from the ones that manifest in the Ether, at least. It has been said that the source of a warlock's power comes from an orb, that is formed only within specific tarborn, and that this orb acts as a communication channel to their god. Several names exist for these orbs due to their mythic nature, Eyes of Boroxis, black orbs, tar roots etc. It is believed that this orb contains the life essence of these warlocks and if the orb is destroyed, so is the warlock. However finding this orb could be a difficult task, since it is likely to not be shown out in the open. Instead it will likely be hidden somewhere within the warlock or within the numerous ponds of tar in its domain.
