The crimson pass

An old route that leads through the mountains, not in use anymore, however, and it is a dangerous path to take today due to falling to disrepair. It is a long trail, hard and strenuous, likely was such even when it was being maintained. The ruins of houses and buildings along the trail a reminder of the people who used to maintain it. The crimson trees that grow along the trail are an introduced species, but seem to do just fine alongside the more temperate parts of the trail and have grown quite wild in some spots.
