"Something had moved into the copse. It wasn't safe to traverse anymore. Giant centipedes and the insectoids that resulted from them merging with their victims now prowl those shaded woods. Their innumerable limbs twitching amidst the scraggly branches of the rotten trees. Was that a rogue gust of wind that moved within the foliage, or the legs of something skittering towards its next prey? The creaking and scratching of the trees, or the chittering and squirming of something monstrous out of sight? Do not go there, within those woods.
