The map of Atyrza [commission]

Big big big commission done for Imperator Aiur (aka. Eldrad) I have been working on this on and off for the past few months. I was given the shape of the landmass, the countries and a few named cities and all the rest was handed to me to imagine up. Coming up with varied biomes and geology was the hardest part and the map went through quite a few make overs. Another difficult area were the colors. Since I did not want to use the traditional height map coloration that maps usually use, getting the colors to play nice together, while using almost every single color available, took a lot of work. This hopefully is not evident from the finished image and you will simply see colors merging and changing flawlessly. Anyways.
